LIGHT & BRIGHT SKIN RESURFACING

The Light & Bright™ treatment is the ultimate non-surgical aesthetic combination treatment. It uses two complementary advanced technologies, IPL Intense Pulsed Light with non-ablative Fractional 1550 Laser, to treat multiple skin concerns simultaneously, with no downtime.

Phase 1 of the Treatment, the IPL handheld device is passed over the skin, emitting pulses of light that penetrate deep into the dermis. IPL rejuvenates your skin in the deeper layers and stimulates collagen production while leaving the surface layer intact. The process gently destroys unwanted pigment cells before they surface.

Number of sessions: For optimal results, most clients require 3 to 5 treatments spaced a few weeks apart. The number of sessions needed depends on the severity of the skin concerns being treated and the desired outcomes. Your skin specialist will develop a personalised treatment plan based on your skin's needs. 

How long will it last? Multiple treatments are often needed for optimal results, which can last up to two years. A maintenance session is recommended once a year. Recovery from redness and dryness usually lasts a few days.

IPL PHOTO-FACIAL TREATMENT

Treatment For: Pigmentation (sunspots, age spots, freckles), Vascular lesions (rosacea, spider veins), Redness and broken capillaries, Skin texture and fine lines.

Number of sessions: Most clients achieve noticeable results after 3 to 6 treatments, spaced four weeks apart. The number of sessions needed depends on the severity of the skin concern and the treatment area. Your therapist will customise a treatment plan to suit your individual needs.

Down Time: There is no downtime for Photo-facial Rejuvenation.  However for 1-3 days you may experience mild redness, slight swelling, and darkening of pigmentation or vascular lesions.

Candela Nordly's latest Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology emits NBL Narrow band spectrum light to target pigmentation and vascular concerns. By using two types of light-based and Selective Waveband Technology (SWT®), our clients get a faster, more effective, and more comfortable treatment than traditional IPL.

Our IPL effectively corrects discolouration of the skin.  It treats unwanted redness, pigmentation, fine lines and uneven skin tone. The Nordlys red vein removal treatment uses precise laser technology to target and collapse visible red veins, which are naturally reabsorbed by the body for clearer, even-toned skin. Each session lasts 15–30 minutes, with 1–4 treatments recommended, spaced 4 weeks apart. A consultation and patch test is required, the cost of which is redeemable against your treatment.

    Potentially harmful wavelengths are eliminated using patented Dual Mode Filtering. The remaining useful wavelengths are absorbed by the hemoglobin in your blood vessels — only the treated ones — and the melanin in your freckles, sun spots, or other pigmented lesions.

  • Acne occurs when your sebaceous glands overproduce an oily substance called sebum. When extra sebum gets trapped in your hair follicles, your skin can become irritated — leading to the appearance of pimples on your face. Left untreated, some types of acne can cause permanent scarring. The NordlysTM system treats acne by reducing the blood supply to these baceous gland to slow down the production of sebum. The system delivers short, bursts of Candela SWTTM directed at the skin. Using patented Dual Mode Filtering technology, the system filters the light to ensure that only the wavelengths necessary for the treatment are used. Because of this, only the blood vessels that supply the sebaceous gland are impacted, while the surrounding vessels are not affected.

  • With leg veins and other types of vascular lesions, smaller vessels can disappear immediately after Nordlys TM treatments. Larger ones fade away more gradually over the next few weeks.

  • The Frax laser rejuvenates skin by delivering very small, controlled bursts of energy to the skin. The technology in the Nordlys TM system controls the appropriate width and depth of the laser light energy delivered to meet individual needs. The delivered energy stimulates the production of collagen, resurfacing the skin over times. The laser is gently rolled across the skin over brief treatment sessions. The surface of the skin is left intact and there is low downtime associated with healing and recovery.
